Help me understand turbo talk...
Okay, so im trying to learn about FI and ive been reading threads here and there trying to pick up what i can about turbos. Ive read all the threads and websites that teach turbo basics but I still dont understand a lot of this turbo talk...
i was looking at a thread where people posted their set up and i was just wonder what they meant by some stuff..
(sorry, i stole this from someones post)

ARP = ARP headstuds. Replacements for the stock headbolts that hold the head, HG and block together. Stronger than stock and cheaper!
RC 550's = 550cc fuel injectors, as opposed to stock D/B-series 240cc injectors.
Defi-Link Boost and EGT gauges = gauges for your turbo setup (duh). Boost displays how much boost your turbo is creating, and the EGT gauge stands for Exhaust Gas Temp., which reads from a probe installed in your turbo manifold and tells you how hot your exhaust gases are getting, a good indicator of how rich/lean you're running as well.
PLX Wideband = a unit that determines your exact air/fuel ratio, whether it be under boost (when your turbo is spooling and as a result you go fast ) or in Vacuum (turbo's not creating any boost, i.e. driving at low RPM / low throttle usage).
