Default Tips on installing HKS SSQV BOV

I have the HKS SSQ with the flange welded to my UIC piping. I put the gasket in the flange and test fit the BOV but it seems to not be a tight enough fit. Will the metal clip make it fit snug?

yes the metal clips is what hold the BOV in the flange and make it leak proof...
use a special pliers..I forgot what it called....I'll find out in a few....otherwise, good luck, you'll never get the BOV in the flange..

with this pliers, it took me 5 minutes and I have done 2 so far...

you need a set of C clamp pliers, make sure you get the right size, and have some patience. It's a very secure design

it took me a half hour to install that damn thing. I used 2 flathead screwdrivers Dont ask me how, just got creative. Make sure to tape the side of the bov so you dont scratch it up in the process.

You can also take the outer cover off of the BOV, its every other screw on the front . It allows for alot more room to work.
