Oil Pressure readings..
what are your typical oil pressure readings at full/part throttle?? I need some numbers to see where I'm at and to see if i'm in the normal range, which is around 60-75 psi when on the throttle or above 2.5K rpm.... etc..

haha turbo LS hatch here buddy, baddass torque and top end with my new .46 turbo form my previous 60-1.
your pressure should read at start up 60 psi could be close to more or a lil less. at full throttle it is steady at 50-60 psi. at warm up and motor at idle should be from 20 psi to 30 psi, depends on where you have your timing set. all this could play a factor.
boost that LS hatch boiiiiiii what are our times if you ran any.

Re: Oil Pressure readings.. (synergy004)
hit the track the other weekend... ran a best 14.0, no MPH cuz the track comp was not working... this was on a slipping clutch and 8 psi.. my best mph was 101.7 mph @ 14.5 sec.. horrible 0-60ft..
gonna try again when i get the new clutch broken in.. hopin for low 13's at least..

forgot to mention.. all this was done on 555r's.. didn't get any decent burnouts either.. car would move forward even with the rear wheels locked...

Damn, why is everyone else's so low. At redline high rpm i am seeing 90-95 psi of oil. At idle about 25 and part throttle about 65.
Why is this? 94 ls turbo motor in my hatch too??? hmmmm

Re: Oil Pressure readings..
The warm pressure at idle on my B16B w/ 30 weight oil is 22-25psi.
On track at race temps and WOT, high-rpms it's between 80-90psi.
It's a NA application, BTW.

Re: Oil Pressure readings..
good. i see just about 90 psi at 8500ish rpms.
60-70 cold idle, 20-30 warm idle. usually around 75ish just cruising. 10w-40 in a vtec motor.
im using an autometer electrical which suck pretty bad honestly, ive had 1 sending unit go bad on me already and i dont even have it hooked up half the time.
as for the car creeping foward, do those burnouts in 2nd gear with the ebrake yanked all the way up
