What size flange to fit end on 3" Thermal? (making my own flex)
i have a soon to be boosted LS.I'm gonna make a "flex pipe" i guess you could call it, out of exhaust repair kit...as seen here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=155616 . i will be ordering a 3" thermal in about 2 weeks. I need to make the flange that hooks up to the exhaust...but i'd like to have it made before my exhaust comes in so i dont have to wait to put it on. Anyway i can tell an exhaust shop waht size flange i need.....or am i just going to have to wait till my exhaust comes in and bring it to them? Thanks
Try SummitRacing.com
For 3" to 3" (if you have a 3" downpipe & flex)
part # SUM-G4752
or
part # SUM-G4752SS if you prefer stainless.
For 2.5" to 3"
part # SUM-G4754
or
part # SUM-G4754SS for stainless
You get 2 of 'em, so you can give one to your friend.

i see 3" to 2.5 inch exhaust, but i need 2.5" downpipe to 3" exhaust...i cant seem to find it on there.
I am not sure but do you need a reducer donut or someting? Chrysler has a donut reducer from 3 to 2.5", dont remember what car it came off though.

no......i need the flange to bolt up to the 3" side and the 2.5 inch pipe to be open....
Unless I'm missing something.

from this pic, it looks like the summit 3" flange will bolt on to the thermal.

ahh i see what your saying. just one question...is that bolt pattern for the flange universal?like will it def. bolt up to my 3"thermal?
Your 3" Thermal exhaust should have one of these provided. But, if you can't wait, that should be the info you need to be sure you're ordering the right one from Summit (or whoever).
