Ok, i got some problems. The turbo feels like its running 2 psi It makes some kinda of fluttering sound like blowing on paper (not the bov).

I dont have a boost controller , so do I keep the top port of the tial wastegate open???? or do I plug it up????

The blow off valve(hks racing type 2) is pretty loud....so I knoe i got boost, but the drive feels almost stock. I checked all the piping and stuff and it all seems fine. Is it bad to tighten the clamps too hard? What is goin on here? im gettin really frustrated...i think i need a shot of JD.

Check your check valves, keep the top port open. Do you have a boost gauge?

 

im gettin a boost gauge tommow, but I knoe for fact that im not running .45 bar like the tial is supposed to be set at.

How does the check valves affect it? i did the ghetto rig one outta fishtank supplies till i can get ahold of one from importparts. For some reason it never came in my kit.

 

The fluttering sound could be your wastegate. Mine did it, and it was only when I was on the throttle, even only a little. On the TIAL, the hex bolts can be hard to get a REALLY good bite on to tighten them enough. I used my Deltagate bolts, and got enough torque on the bolts to make the fluttering go away. The best way to check is to remove your wastegate and look at your gasket, if there's any damage it's not sealed-and that should fix your problem.

 

id just spend 60 bucks and buy a missing link, and get rid of those getto check valves...

 

make sure you fuel pump is done right wired correct polarity. As it direp972 car did the same thing felt some what good but not really great.

 

Mine ade that kind of noise from overboosting... I had my wastegate hooked up incorrevtly.. hit 1.5 bar a coupe of times, scared the poo poo out of me, so I looked into getting it right.

Now it's fine at my .5 Bar

 

i think i need to do that as well...take off the hex bolts and put the ones from the deltagate in. thanks
