Has anyone done this before? Homemade flex pipe made out of exhaust repair kit. Pics
Integra7 showed me this. Its just 2.5" "exhaust repair kit" (sold at local stores). clamped down to the stock DP...and then a flange made for the other side.... anyone else tried this? (it s only temporary) 1, 2 months max. http://imglib.************/index.cgi?cmd=view&id=2396
Umm... I did that for like 6 months, then I got rid of the clamps and welded it together for another 6 months. Like 30,000 miles total. Works fine.
Might blow out your muffler bearings in the long run tho.

yep, my self and direp972 did this too...
works like a charm, Ihave replaced mine twice, first on in a 3 months after the turbo...
too much torque split the flex pipe open..

If you dont have access to a welder any muffler shop can get you it done for probably like 10-15 bucks. The exhaust repair kit I bought came w/ 1 clamp so I just had to buy 1 more.
