Default Should I get a JS Safeguard

Just curious if I should go for a JS safeguard for the ol' turbo motor that I am building. I plan on using Hondata ona p28 ECU too. From what I understand, the p28 does not have knock detection....so i personally would feel better with the Safeguard. If I get one now, what version would be best: 1;2; or 3?

yes you should get a safeguard and you don't need the ultra w/ hondata, try to find a standard or classic model used, should be $200-250...

Thanks a lot bro, that is what I was thinking too..... I mean I don't need all hose features that the J&S provides, except the knock sensing.

I'd have to agree. The JS will save your *** when you need it. I have my ZC turbo, tuned to where there is zero knocking up to 12psi where it stands right now. It makes an excellent tuning device as well as a safety measure to retard timing when you are a little too in the boost.
