ultra v.1

worked great with the JRSC and should do fine with the turbo.

 

True, I was told v.2 though too.

 

v2 will work with jrsc. but i relocated my map sensor so v1 allowed me to use the map limiter

 

With a standalone like Hondata, get the J&S Classic (original version with btm features). For all other apps, the v.2 Ultra is the best. The MAP Limiter circuit in that thing kicks *** for any forced induction application. It will rid JRSC's of tip-in detonation and it also allows you to control injector duty cycle at WOT.

Right, that is the plan for me. I intended to use the Hondata 4b, and then get the classic for the knock sensor feature that is has. I need that because my p28 doesnt have one.

 

So is it overkill to use t he V2 Ultra J&S with Hondata? That is what I got.

 

kind of but it doesnt hurt anything. the ultra knows when the vtec solenoid kicks so it doesnt retard when the knock sensor picks up this noise, some people reported the j&s classic would retard thinking this was detonation
