I've never seen anything like the inset in the box, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. They way you have things set up now looks fine. And no, where you place the different sensors, oil feed, etc, doesn't really matter as they should all the same pressure.

Tom

edit: I ran a set-up like you had it for a long time with 0 problems.

I actually just had everything tee'd off the back of the block. I know better now. I'll double the check the fitting sizes later tonight and PM you tomorrow.

I have used a oil filter relocation kit. The relocation is great but the best part is both the oil filter replacer and the relocated oil filter adaptor have Four pretabbed holes for all your sensor, feedline, drain need. I hook my aftermarket oil pressure sensor and feedline on the relocated piece. Stock Oil pressure sending unit is untouched and I get to change oil easier.

hm... that's interesting... what kit did you use and where did you mount the new "location" of the filter?

If you need any special fittings, like the Male 1/8" BSPT to -4AN adapter, check with Maryland Metrics.

That's who I bought my adapters from. They do have a $10 minimum order, FYI.
