Oil feed line restrictors...who has them?

Actually it reduces the flow volume and not pressure. Sometimes when an unrestricted inlet is used the center housing will overfill because it is filling faster than it is draining. The pressurized oil usually seeps past the GOOD oil seals and into the exhaust/compressor because the oil seals are weakest link inside of the center housing. Overfilling is a flow volume associated problem.

And it's the problem I have.......which begs the question, is it better/easier/cheaper to get a restrictor or change from -4 to -3 on the feed line?
And BTW think I figured something out the other day. It only does it when the engine is cold and I run 5W30 just like Honda says to on my oil filler cap! I am going to try 10W30 this coming oil change to see if there is any difference...

That is the exact problem I am facing right now too. Ol is not draining fast enough so its building up and gong through the seals. I mean, I even have oil shooting out of my BOV. No blue smoke yet or rough idle...thank God!!
How many people use those things, I have never heard of it until lately for our turbo charged Hondas?

Here, I found a pcture of one just on case you guys were curious before purchasing. BTW, it is referred to as a nitrous/fuel restrictor.
The part # a http://www.summitracing.com is ATM-3277

that nitrous port is too small! I'll check the size of the restrictor on my extra turbo tonight.

So is it a better idea to go with the -3 instead of 4 on a t3t4 b16?? Im about to order my line, just wondering which is better....If I get the 3 is there a chance the turbo wont get enough oil??

definitely drill it out because you would only be getting a trickle of oil.
Here's a pic of the one that I use.

Re: Oil feed line restrictors...who has them?
My oil feed setup (greddy kit) basically has a -3 line going from the block to a set of tees with my oil pressure & temp sensors, and then going to the turbo through a rather large greddy-supplied line (not sure what the size is)
Originally I had the tees directly on the block;
with the tees on the block, my oil pressure gauge showed 75psi when driving around, now with the -3 line (about 20" of -3 between the block and the tees), i see 50psi of pressure. I would imagine that a -3 line the whole way would give you 40-50 psi of pressure at the turbo...

I might have a problem with oil coming up the threads of the fittng with a restrictor in that position. Wouldn't it be better to have the restrictor coming off the tee from the block? Or is the general consensus to just get a -3 line?
Anybody know what size line comes with the Drag Gen III kit?

When you say -3, do you mean the ID of a -3AN fitting?
to the OD of a -3 fitting/line??
