Re: Thermal to Cat (NHB Fighter)
nope, unfortunatly it wont. extensive modification is needed since the thermal is 3" and your stock cat is 2.5"......so you need to make an enlarger to get it to bolt up.
or you could go 3" high flow cat, but then you need to make that bolt up to your 2.5" (i assume) down pipe. its a headache, but any mufflar shop can help ya!

Hey, Brian 92 GSR, are you the one with a Drag 2 kit on your teg, if so do you have any pics of the piping, running into a situation, with the last bit of my install. Thanks.

Re: Thermal to Cat (NYb16)
Do u think its better to make enlarger to bolt up to the thermal or just get a 3 inch high flow cat, but then I would have to do some other mods to fit the cat to my 2 inch greddy downpipe. How much more horsepower will I expect to gain with a cat? I just dont know if its worth the money to get a new cat. My car is producing very little power from my turbo since my stock exhaust is so restrictive. I need an exhaust quick. Any more help will be appreciated thanks.

Re: Thermal to Cat (NHB Fighter)
you LOSE power with a cat. i have my drag 2.5" downpipe connected to some flex piping which is connected to a 2.5" to 3" enlarger. then that is bolted to the thermal
you're losing a lot of power from that small greddy downpipe as well

2) get a 3" cat
3) get the muffler shop that's installing 1 and 2 to custom fabricate a new downpipe for your greddy kit that will flare out to 3" for the cat, and include some flexpipe too.
this is exactly what i did for my greddy kit
