Default preppin for turbo

I plan on going turbo and need to know what to prepare for before getting it, I wanna get a Drag 3 for my 96 GSR What will I need to change to my fuel system, what is a good waste gate cuz I heard the one that comes with the Drag 3 isn't so good? Will I need to get a stand alone, and how will it help?

best preparation for turbo is KNOWLEDGE. gotta know what youre gettin into before you install it. replacing the exhaust manifold gasket, upgrading to stainless steel lines and fitting for your oil return line, replacing your fuel filter, replacing all fluids, and blah blah blah... those are things you should do. make sure you do a compression check to see where you stand with your motor. DRAG3 kits are cool... the wastegate that comes with it is fine. alot of us still use it. standalone like Hondata is always good and beneficial in tuning. youll run alittle rich at mid-high end with the basic fmu, inline, and stock injector fuel setup. it all depends on your budget.
