Default JDM ITR brakes vs. US ITR brakes

I've been hearing some strange rumors and I did a search already but I feel this is the best place for the RIGHT answer.

Are the JDM 98 spec ITR calipers and rotors the same as the US 98 ITRs?

From what i have read No they are not the same the 98 spec jdm ITR rotors are larger hence the need for a 16" rim.

Calipers are the same. IIRC, the rotors are the same too.

Hub/knuckle assembly is different.

I am 100%m sure that 98 spec Jdm braking system is exactly typical as euro Itr's and Usdm Itr's! The only difference is in the front knucle cause of the shaft that is thicker.
And to confirm,15" rims fit on 98 spec Jdm Itr...

Some obscure web site about the difference between the JDM 98 specs and the usdm.
" according to this site the JDM 98 speck got larger rotors both front and rear "
Then a few weeks later a buddy gave me some Type R vhs tape" Best motoring? " and the tape said the same thing.
I do not have time now but i will try to find the site, you will need a translator program for it though.

No, I remember that vid. But from what I remember it compared the JDM 96 spec R to the JDM 97 spec R and there was a difference since the first R had the same brakes as the GSR, other Intrgras, etc. But nothing between the JDM and USDM brakes.

But iirc the 97 R's brakes were upgraded to the larger off the shelf OEM Accord Wagon brakes, caliper, rotor, etc. So truthfully the 97-01 R's worldwide do have larger brakes, but not just JDM as opposed to anyone else.
