Default '96 JDM ITR Wheels/Brakes question

Hello all, i've been searching for about a half an hour now for some type of topic concerning the brake setup of the ITR brakes. this is what i found:

Same size as GSR rotors (besides lug pattern, naturally)
Better piston/caliper (corect if i'm wrong)

My question:
Where can i get replacement rotors/pads? Will anything from an accord fit? can i order JDM Honda replacement parts online somewhere?

thanks

If Honda UK are anything to go by you will have a bitch of a problem getting discs, especially rears.

F & R Pads are easy Honda can get these for you they are used on a lot of other Hondas, I cant tell you which you need as I have seen different shapes(front)on different 96specs. I can get you part nos tomorrow if you can wait.

Discs though are a nightmare, I couldnt source them anywhere - even the states. In the end my rears are for a Civic redrilled for 114.3x4 and the fronts are for the Rover 800 which I dont think you will have over there, but the discs are a near perfect fit, i just had to take 1mm of the caliper bracket as the offset is ever so slightly different.

Let us know if theres anything further I can help with. As I say the above is just my experience.

Another source for rotors/calipers again a UK transplant is, get rotors and calipers off a 4th gen prelude. Same PCD, slightly bigger, and can cope very well with the reduced weight of the ITR compared to the prelude

There are a lot of companies that will make you custom rotors if you contact them and order some, I know Brembo will, and I'm pretty sure PowerSlot will also.

Oh, thanks alot guys. I've been hearing that you can redrill rotors to fit... so i might look into that.

Otherwise, what are the Japanese part #'s for the rotors/pads front/rear?

thanks.

Pads front & rear are the exact same as USDM GSR pads so theres plenty to choose from. I got 96 JDM ITR front discs from Mardigras Motorsport in the UK, they just ordered them from honda in japan for me, i ordered and paid for them on tuesday and had them on the thursday morning!! (then again i am in europe)

You could just use the 92-96 prelude vtec caliper/pad setup?

There is a huge thread in the EG+ forum that has a lot of this info in it. I'll see if I can dig it up for you. I'm running the 4x114.3 off the ITR on my EK hatch now.

Here it is. Hope this helps a little.

94 vtec prelude rotors, pads and calipers. If you are using the 96 JDM ITR wheels, then in conjunction to this setup you will also need a 5mm wheel spacer so the wheel can clear the caliper. You can also grind down the caliper if you wish.
