Default JDM ITR 4x114 brakes?

Ok got kinda of a confusing prob any help would be appreciated. I got a front clip of a 98 JDM ITR, it came with 4x114 hubs (I heard they do this for some low end type-r's)

My front caliper on my 93 si just went out and i wanted to take the calipers off the ITR and put them on my EG.

I measured everything out and the stock rotors on my EG are:
diameter: 9.5 in.
thickness: 23mm

for the jdm itr they are
diameter: 10.3 in.
thickness: 23mm (i think 5 lug is 28mm)

now im wondering will gsr rotors fit the specs so i can take the calipers off the ITR, and put gsr rotors? And what brake pads do i need to get for the itr calipers, are they different between the 4lug and 5 lug?

Is there any one that has done anything like this before? I have the whole knuckle assembly with the a arms so if anyone can give me some suggestion on how i could make this fit a 4x100 pattern i'd appreciate it.

Thanks

The only R that was 4x114 was the 96 JDM R, I believe.

You can use those R calipers, but you will need 4x100 integra spindles and hubs and rotors. Better off just buying a complete integra front brake setup that cost around 100-200 bux.

Or you could get a new caliper for your stock setup for under 100 I am sure.
But integra front brakes are a worth upgrade.

From my understanding, the ITR calipers are different from the calipers you have.
The GSR rotors are the same size as your rotors right now so it does no good for you to get the gsr rotors.

so, here is my suggestion if you really want to use the ITR calipers:

go to http://www.fastbrakes.com and order the kit that has the 11" rotors redrilled to 4x100 lugs, and the mounting brackets for the ITR caliper.

other than that, I have no idea what you should do.

so you cant use the spindles, hubs and rotors that are already in the si?

Not sure about the year cuz they cut that part of the door off and the motor was blown so they gave me a 98 motor so i assumed it was 98...

Thanks for the help

But he has the 4x114 setup, which use the same size rotors as any 94 up integra. So those 96 R calipers should work and be the same as any 94 up integra, cept for the 97 up R of course.

Since you have all the parts on hand already, try to see if you can mount the calipers. But the integ calipers are sized for a bigger rotor so it isn't an ideal setup, even if it fit, since you have end up with pads that hang off the end of the rotor.

According to fastbrakes there is a gsr that comes with 10.3 in rotors, my hatch has 9.5" (its a 93 non-abs)

here is the page
http://www.fastbrakes.com/pages/kits.htm

it says
[integra specR kit]
3 simple fastbrakes performance upgrades for 10.3" front brake equipped cars.

Thanks for the help

The gsr rotors will not fit your spindles without a hubcentric ring to center the rotor on your smaller hub. And then you still need brackets to adapt the gsr calipers to your spindles.

I belive Fastbrakes sells a kit to do this. Talk to Brian, he should have definite answers for you, and probably sell you a solution as well.
