I just recently bought a 97 type r, and was wondering which header is better for performance gains, the DC sports jdm header or the factory honda jdm header. I appreciate any input, thanks

Both of the above are about the same.
To get more out of a header you're looking at getting an SMSP race header or an equivalent.

when you buy a new Header sell me your stock header

I have a stock ITR "header" to get rid of ... but that sucker's heavy so shipping from VA to NJ won't be cheap.
