4-1 design - high end power
4-2-1 design - low end power

Well, give or take, however more power is produced with the 4-1 design IMHO!

Best design, JDM ITR 4-1... Hands down...

No discernable difference imo (given similar length primaries and secondaries)

First, your car only has need for one header, do not get headerS. Second, a 4-2-1 design is typically for mid range power and torque where a 4-1 design is for upper end power. Do not worry about "back pressure" or losing it. Toda, Mugen, Hytech, SMSP and sp00n are excellent headers to choose from. But if you want a bargain, JDM DC sports 4-1 or OEM ITR 4-1 is a good bet.

Oh, go to http://www.inlinefour.com ASAP, they have a sale, DC Sports ceramic (which is much better than stainless steel, hence ceramic traps heat...) JDM ITR style 4-1 header for a crazy price of $280.00 - I would hit it up before they run out!

4-2-1 rules both midrang and top end (Toda and SMSP):

I wrapped mine but I knew they were only temporary headers. Wrap will kill your headers VERY quickly.

HKS header rules!

Its a combined 4-1 and 4-2-1 header. Massif low end torque and high peak power.
I did 217,5 HP @ the engine with only a Injen CAI, HKS header and Hi power exhaust.

Good 4-2-1 and 4-1 headers (plural) have similar properties, I don't understand where the generalizations are coming from, they just aren't true.

It 'may' be.... but coating is a better option IMO.

Look at this coating job.

inline4 has the JDM ITR header listed for $388?
is this just a typo or was the sale really short?
