Yeah I spent $350 on this bar I'm not willing to spend another 500 on a full race bar. I'm merely chiming in to keep people from making the same mistake I did. Besides its not toally useless. After all I don't get anywheel hop off the line. My last venture at the track got me a 1.9 60 and I missed 2nd

i couldnt see anything wrong with the ESP bar before i bought it. It's just a hardware issue. I'll replace the hardware with better quality pieces.

I'm being told this problem might be the column switch (headlight switch). Is anyone parting out a sedan? I WTB a colomn switch. I don't know if they are all the same from the different EF chassis or not.

Okay, here is the deal. I've got a '91 LX sedan that is mostly stock besides header, exhaust, wheels, springs and bolt on stuff. I've never messed with any of the wiring.

About a week ago I got into the car at night and noticed when I turned my headlights on the instrument lights did not work unless I was using the brakes. My wife was behind me and said my tail lights also did not work, only the brake lights when I was on the brakes.

I checked all the fuses and #8 (intruments lights, tail lights, lisence lights) was blown. I replaced it. This fixed the problem of the intrument lights and tail lights not working while the headlights were on.
However, when the headlights are off and I use the brakes, my instrument lights and front corner lights come on. In addition, my third brake light is always on.

After about 20 minutes of driving the fuse will blow again and I'm back to the first scenario.

Has anyone ever had a problem like this? What are possible problems? How do I go about trouble shooting this?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the same problem i had. wiring in the turn signals caused a short and blew the fuse.

No, and it hasn't caused any issues so far. It may have been because I had the camber plates all the way negative and the car very low at the time.

I need to know a quick answer for the hub. The momo hub on ebay I found is for a 84-87 civic, crx. I was wondering if the spline count is the same as 88-91 and will it work just fine? I'm looking for a hub for my nrg steering wheel.

I'm not goin to lie. I have no idea what's wrong with my a/c not turning on. I'm avoiding troubleshooting it since it's electrical.

Here's a fun one. Today, for the third time this year, I tried to use my a/c and for the third time after a few minutes the temp gauge goes way up. I shut the a/c off and it goes back to normal in a few minutes. The a/c is blowing cold when it's on. What gives? Ugh, I am sick of cars. I don't even hardly mess with this sedan, I just drive it and I'm still having stupid problems.

And then I got a ref ticket and have to
just got it extended and heard some bad news about CA not allowing JDM motors to be bar'd anymore. So i'm just taking some extra steps. I'm going to make an appt before my court date and take the B16a down there go through the process. If they tell me no JDM motor claim hardship to the judge and hopefully just pay the fine. Hopefully this crap is just temp. b.s. CA is doing. If that doesn't fly then screw just install a b16a2 or a b16a3 if I can find one for cheap.

Sucks the hassle of all his
I should have just gotten it done a long time ago. I'm kicking myself in the *** because I waited so long

so far two guys have made a thread about it. One being from San Diego. And a Call center guys who is a member confirmed it on the thread

https://honda-tech.com/forums/northern-california-86/ref-2548342/

https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-integra-6/just-failed-ca-referee-inspection-2550755/

word is they have been planning it since Oct. 08 but just passed it last week Monday

Its like everytime a new "racing" movie comes out CA tries to crack down on stuff. When it was never a problem before. Stupid driver are stupid driver no matter what kind of car they drive.

just get a momo 88-91 civic/crx hub off ebay. There is a dealer that has them I forgot his name though but I would just go with the right year or something like that. the price is not that much different.

Or you can get NrG short hub/Quick Release combo for the NrG wheel
HKB also makes a good hub
pretty good for theft as well

I can pass smog no problem its that fact that you can't just drive a nice looking honda anymore. I'm fortunate enough to have never had to really deal with that crap for the past two years I have had my b16a up until now.
It was a nice little run while it lasted...
