▀ Please help me diagnose this fuse/wiring problem... ▀
Okay, here is the deal. I've got a '91 LX sedan that is mostly stock besides header, exhaust, wheels, springs and bolt on stuff. I've never messed with any of the wiring.
About a week ago I got into the car at night and noticed when I turned my headlights on the instrument lights did not work unless I was using the brakes. My wife was behind me and said my tail lights also did not work, only the brake lights when I was on the brakes.
I checked all the fuses and #8 (intruments lights, tail lights, lisence lights) was blown. I replaced it. This fixed the problem of the intrument lights and tail lights not working while the headlights were on.
However, when the headlights are off and I use the brakes, my instrument lights and front corner lights come on. In addition, my third brake light is always on.
After about 20 minutes of driving the fuse will blow again and I'm back to the first scenario.
Has anyone ever had a problem like this? What are possible problems? How do I go about trouble shooting this?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you have the manual for your car you should check the grounds that go under the dashboard. theres one under your steering wheel, one behind stereo , i forgot where else.
neutral safety switch if your running a stick shift
stop light switch if your running an auto.
i've had stupid problems like that too, if one of those switches go out, your tail/break lights act all stupid.

check the wiring in the trunk i had the same type of issues when i had wiring shorts in the trunk of my 89 lx, the weather stripping to the trunk was letting water get in. this caused all kinds of probs

I'm sorry, what exactly is the column switch?
the switch to turn on your headlights and turn signals is what he is talking about. I can confirm that that combination switch causes all kinds of crazy stuff to happen when it goes bad. Mine has a short somewhere where my tail lights and dash lights dont immediatly come on when i turn on my headlights. Then after about 5 minutes everything magically lights up and stays on. i would also bet money that it is the cause. The only problem is they are hella expensive, so i just live with the issues, and so far the only issue is i have to wait a few minutes to drive if i need my lights on.
