For the price I would expect it to be a little better thought out. Oh well.. Ill either trim the bracket or trim that support back i guess. If its not one thing its something else Ive realized. Ive got a lot done recently.. when I get some time Ill get some pics up. thanks for the input boosted. wish they would tell you this in the directions or before buying it.

Back to the seat's and bracket and sliders convo... Ive found it hard to come by some brackets and sliders for my 91 model. I plan to run a full bucket as well. Do those wedge brackets just bolt up in a 91 or is that just the 88/89 (non door mounted seat belts) version?

honestly I would just google search reacaro dealer so u can find someone near you. Most aftermarket shops can order for if u want the basic stuff as far as color and stlye. Or if u like me u can go straight to the source at Racaro ASM boutique in japan. U can order from them just shipping will be a wait same as if u used yahoo auction. But atleast u will be able to get some good frames with Kevlar or what not. I'm selling my bucket if u are interesterd in lime green

Dood, I still have the bracket and sidemounts for 91 CRX. Wedge Engineering is just reverse engineered Sparco brackets - EXACTLY. They have threaded some holes here and there vs Sparco just having a hole, and they typically have the additional piece you would order from sparco to do height adjustment (up only pretty much, sorry guys).

But yeah, same stuff, not as pretty, but does a heck of a job cheaper.

i ran the wedge slider setup and it sat about the same as stock...taking out the sliders would lower it another inch or so but im not sure if you could bolt sidemounts to the bracket because it pretty much sits on the floor.

heres a pic before the car had the roll bar

I hate seats like that! Unless it's in a race only car, then it's worth the PITa to get in. LOL! If I had one It would be necessity to have a quick release sterring wheel hub. I've got a couple friends with that style seat and it kills me to get in.

Im the exact opposite. I friggin love seats that you sit in, not on. Nothing worse than rolling out of the seat in a hard turn. I must say, if you're a bigger guy, getting in and out would probably be a pain. Im a lightweight, lol.

Bride Exas III w/ Bride side mounts and rail for me. No need to take my steering wheel out to get in either, Ive gotten very used to it.

yea I'm not a lightweight. LOL 220lbs 5'11" broad shoulders. Most racing seats do not fit me well.

Do you hatch guys know if the seat bolt pattern for a EF-1,2,3,9 is the same as U.S.? If so, I have a bride seat mount, slider, and sidemounts I've had for years that I wouldn't mind selling.

i would think that it would be the same as crx. 88 would fit ef9, maybe early 89.
