yeah US is fine
I just don't understand why not JDM
Thats a lot of businesses out of luck, importing down the drain. And that money for CA within itself.
Its kind of a stupid decision and I don't understand why to backlash towards JDM motors.
d16z6 w/ intake manifold and TB
90-91 Si transmission
p28
rywire obd0-1 jumper harness
Si resistor box for injectors if you are not already an Si and use your old manifold if you are a Si
you'll be done in about 5 hours if you know what your doing.
I refuse to give up on a/c. Just a little wiring issue that I'm delaying to fix. I'm going to pick up a 2nd fan and plug it in. I'm no electrical engineer but it may be causing it to not cut on. IDFK though. I really need to find a local electrical guru. One that won't run away from a wire-tucked engine swap.
Here's a fun one. Today, for the third time this year, I tried to use my a/c and for the third time after a few minutes the temp gauge goes way up. I shut the a/c off and it goes back to normal in a few minutes. The a/c is blowing cold when it's on. What gives? Ugh, I am sick of cars. I don't even hardly mess with this sedan, I just drive it and I'm still having stupid problems.
I agree completely. How can they try to be trying to re-coop the economy and closing legitimate business'. What exactly is the difference between the USDM and JDM b16'd. Maybe a slightly higher comp and no VIN tag. I really don't think this will stay this way. Or at least I hope.
What earthquakes!? Never been in an earthquake so far. Unless were talking of miniscule magnitude.
But I'm biased, ive never lived in another state, other than a state in mexico ,of course.
Edit: maybe there are earthquakes in certain parts of california, around the fault i suppose. My location is ideal for me,
i can drive 15 minutes north and go to the snow. I can drive 1 hour west and go to the ocean. East- nevada, casinos.
And if i just drive 7 hours south, I have vast amount of beaches. 3 more hours and you hit mexico.
There are no mexicans if you live in northern california

I will have to look into this whole jdm motor not allowed thing. It really makes no sense and does not seem logical. Think about it, do they know how many cars are out there with jdm equivalent engines in them? Everything from an old school toyota truck to some old ladie's Accord have jdm 'replacement' engines. Technically those cars need to be re-inspected but no one cares about them because they dont look modified. Only Hondas and bs kit cars go thru the process. I could go on forever bitchin about this, LOL, and it'll surely get us no where.
