Default TYPE R ENGINE OIL and TRANNY FLUID

What type of engine oil, tranny fluid, and oil filter do you guys recommend for a Type R? I am swapping a type r and need to refill all fluids. Also the prestone antifreeze works fine for this motor just as it does a GSR, right? Thanks.

1. You can find the answer in your factory service manual. If you work on your own car, you should have a service manual. If you don't already have one, you can buy a new one here. You might also find a used one on eBay or in the marketplace forums.

2. Perhaps you have not noticed. This is the Integra Type R forum, for discussing the Integra Type R. Questions about a GS-R belong in the Integra forum, not here.

Have a nice day.

2.3 qts of tranny fluid so 3 qts cost like $5.00 per qt newer stuff has a green label good stuff

Always recommend using oem honda oil filter

Many different oils you can use honda oil is made by Mobil 1 but get the Mobile1 at walmart 5 qt is cheap like $20-22

Rad. fluid you need to bottles of premixed since your already at honda might was well get it there costs like $8-9 anywhere you go
