Why does everyone use the S2k filter, does it give you more power when compared to the Accord one? Isn't a OEM Honda filter just a OEM Honda filter, all built with same qaulity? Or is it that the S2k filter filters out better.

The S2000 filter doesn't give u more power or anything. It just helps protect the engine better. Honda used three different manufacturers for their oil filters. (well now only two since the USA made Filtech oil filter is no longer made) The manufacturers were Fram, Filtech and Toyo Roki. As many know, the Fram filter is crap with its cardboard endcaps. Unfortunately, the fram filter is the most common of these three. The new fram filters look a little better but I still wouldn't use the new ones. The filtech filter was a pretty good filter. I used it before i switched to the S2000 filter. Now... the Toyo Roki filter (S2000 filter) was only available in Japan. BUT now they brought it here in the form of the S2000 filter. This filter is far better in quality then both filters. So quality wise, the S2000 filter is the best.

Sparknotes: The other Honda filters don't have a chance when it comes to quality with the S2000 Toyo Roki filter.

The K&N ones are good too but at 10 bucks a pop, I don't know if I will spend that much on an oil filter. The S2000 filters i buy are only 6 bucks.

IF it works on F-seies motors, is it safe to say that it also works on H-series motors?

I bought the new style small filters a month or so ago, and they are made by filtech. Don't know how this rumor got started, but it doesn't seem to be true.

well the filtech filters you are getting from the dealer are just the overstock and they are selling them until they are gone.
in which case they will then be using the plm-ao2 (fram)

the plm-a01's (filtech) are no longer being produced however the dealers that still have some left are selling them you see?
