Well lets see
Mobil 1 STP Bosch Premium are all the same filter essentially and are the best you can get. Mobil 1 has a synthetic filter so it costs slightly more.
Fram theyre essentially all exactly the same thing and that teflon one sucks cause teflon has been proven to suck for engines
Honda Filters Only ones that came from Japan are any good and the ones made here for Honda are basically Crappier than Fram.
HAMP Filter is easier to get than a true JDM honda filter and is basically same thing as the JDM honda filter
Look for yourself .....youll see FRAM SUCKS & so does Honda
theres 2 links out there.....

Spend a $1 more, and go get Honda Oil filters... They each come with a new crush washer and are the best for your Honda engine

I vote for HAMP

Honda filters both suck
Honda has a diaphragm built into the filter so at any point in time the filter is never dry.
This could lead to cracks and failure of the filter and you not know it.
Honda puts them on their cars for a reason, because they know it works.
Whats on a stock Type R, HONDA filter. Also the honda filters have 3 different filters. one in the states, canada, japan.
Look it up.
since I change my oil at 3k, sometimes less, I never worry about it.
If you going resonably long distances that include hard driving I would suggest a better filter.
Remember, it's oil, not whiskey so don't go spending too much money.
You can get an engine to run very hard and last very long without having to spend 10$ a quart on syn. oil and 15$ on an oil filter.

Frams aren't bad... But their anti-drainback design is kinda flimsy, oil still drains out of the filter back to the oil pan sometimes with the Fram. But I do like the Fram tough guard's filtering efficiency!
STP and Bosch are exactly the same, so if you want a good cheap one, buy the STP.
But if you want a filter that is designed very durable(like the STP and Bosch), but filters the best - get a Modil 1.

A crush washer is the washer inbetween the drain plug and the oil pan. Technically your suppose to replace it every time you use it cause is suppose to be only good one time but oh well I have used a cheap plasic one till it cracked then went to honda and the guy gave me a bag full for free and I still dont change them every time. Not neccesary but a precaution, especially if you cant get it in the air to check for leaks whenever.
