Is your PCV system in good working order?

carbon.
Put a can of gunk out in before your next oil change. I get it from autozone. Its cheap and in a grey bottle. It breaks up the sludge inside the engine. Read back of can for the proper instructions.

my impression was that vtec motor's turned the oil pretty dark fairly quickly.... I know mine does. But it won't hurt to do that flush.

any repercussions from using this gunk out? if not i'll give it a try.
91integGS- i work on (3) b18c and the one in question has it bad. the others seem relatively clean compared to this one.

No it works good. I used it once. Mine wasn't too bad. I wanted to try it out because it was cheap. On the bottle it says you may have to remove the oil pan and wipe it out in extreme cases because it washes all the sluge to the oil pan then it sticks in there. It also says you can repeat the procees but I guess you'd have to refill with new oil and start all over. A waste of oil if you ask me.

I wouldn't use an engine flush if your vehicle has over 100,000 miles.
You may start leaking.
Also, if you're going to use one, use BG's engine flush kit (quick clean and moa). Leave the cleaner in for a minimum of 30 min. before you drain.
