Well, I'm sure alot of people won't appreciate this, and I admit it's a little ghetto, but on my budget I can choose something or nothing

So, 1) Got B&M style cooler from DUMBestic truck junker ($20, with a ton of other parts)
(hose clamps and some fittings included)
2) 10 feet oil cooler hose $10
3) Permacool Oil Cooler sandwich adapter $25
4) 2 Brass fittings ~$4
5) Zip ties
-------
~$59...so, for around $60, I got an oil cooler installed that is comparable to the Mogal in size. It was 1/10th of the price, and I'd wager (my left nut) alot more than 10% as efficient.

::EDIT:: I do plan on replacing the hoseclamps with some compression fittings, but the SS lines are kind of overkill, IMO. In any place where I thought it would rub, I cut a length of hose, split it down the side and put it around the oil line, as a sheath, with zipties.

Not knocking, because if I had the money, I'd probably get a fancy one. I don't have any numbers, as my oil temp/pressure gauges are sitting on the work bench, but maybe this weekend? BTW, those gauges are from the junker (VDO) and new senders were $35

All that money on your oil cooler setup and you're still running a single core civic radiator?

You should put the radiator first, or you will need to relocate all of your oil cooler components and cut new hose.

How much did your setup end up costing you? How do you "monitor" this system? Just an oil temp gauge or is there something else?

the setup ran me about 450 with everything....that stupid nomex hose costs 15.00 a foot...but you could run stuff cheaper...i put in a oil pressure guage and a oil temp guage..thats all

Nomex hose? That's wacky, but cool. What made you go with that over the usual braided-steel hose?
