Yeah, a friend of mine cut open a few oil filters (never used) and he said that FRAM wasn't all that.

Man, that's gonna be a A LOT of reading...but good info.

Basically, mobil one is the best, but it's $10. The AC Delco is really good, close second to mobil, and is only 3$. The purolator ones have real strong elements and good bybass valve designs. Fram and pennzoil are complete garbage. Most champion ones suck. Wix are good.

Those are HAMP filters. I don't think that they are made by FRAM.

When other oil filter companies start putting that grip on the filter like fram does, maybe I'll stop using them.

I've never had a problem ever with any of their filters.

My engine loves me as it is. I'm not reading three pages of words so that I can have the same opinion as when I went into it.

The older Honda filters were made by Wix. Good stuff!

For all your HAMP filter needs check out IPS Racing!

Even if fram is making Honda's filter... I'm sure the design they are making is a Honda one.

Honda OEM filters are the best for our cars. Hands down....

K&N is great, but overkill for everyday use on a stock engine. Sink $20K into the motor and they're cheap insurance.

Just picked up a new OEM Honda oil filter today, FRAM stamped on the side. We'll see how it does...
