Got the car running, left the battery on for a few days, now I have a dead pc680. Jumped it with the jumper pack, now it runs, but the minute i disconnect the pack it dies, with or without battery connected.
So now I need a fresh pc680 and I figured might as well replace the alternator. Its a autozone, I have killed them before. So where can I get a decent (good) alternator, since honda has them discontinued?

I was having a similar issue with my pc680 so I picked up a battery tender and leave it connected works great now

Hasport's kit = Aluminum

Innovative's kit = Steel

I run the innovative steel mounts in both my cars. Instead of googling advantages/disadvantages of hasport vs. innovative and reading a bunch of crap, I'd google the advantages/disadvantages of aluminum vs. steel and form your own opinion from there.

from my personal experience i can say that I would only buy innovative again if it was MUCH cheaper. The bushings i received were garbage. A couple of buddies have had similar issues, but none as bad as mine.

Hasport mounts, are not pieces of metal welded together, they are one solid piece. Innovative are pieces of steel welded together. I supposed it would be possible for those welds to break, but i have not seen it yet.

Interesting, I had no idea that they were discontinued - can you just have it rebuilt?

Damn, I am have pretty much found a buyer for my rabbit, now i worry about finding parts for the civic though. VW's at least have a lot of repro parts and Bosch remans most of their stuff.

That sucks that happened. I've had the innovative mounts in my coupe for 7 years and in my CRX for 6 years...no issues since day 1. Did they warranty the mounts for you?

Has anyone here dealt with "Brake Expert" before???

I am pretty sure HASport mounts have a lifetime warranty. Not sure about Innovative.

Lifetime warranty as well. If engine mounts were like frames, the decision would be easy. Steel is real!

ITs a autozone reman, I went to buy a bnib honda and no dice. I upgraded to a 95 gsr unit (90 amps vs 60) rebuilt denso unit. 135 on rock auto, 90 cheaper than advanced.

If it is the guy from Atlanta, then yep.

He has Porsche brakes on his civic.

When it comes to brakes he tends to be able to figure out what can and what wont work.

The wagon guys got him trying to figure out a bolt in solution for the rtawd system so they can have disc brakes on the rear.

My buddy has dealt with him some.
