The Official EF Discussion Thread
yah i've noticed too that ef prices are damn high. I understand it though, parts are getting rare. I wonder what i could fetch for my hiro wing :D
As for the camber adjusters, I'm kinda limited if I want to stay legal in SCCA, but thanks for the link to Kiwi's stuff, looks good. We'll see if I actually need the front adjustment.
In regards to parts, it is getting ridiculous, at least VW and American guys have people still producing replacement parts (various quality), but at least they have them. Too bad someone couldnt have picked up the dies from Honda to repop parts - now you just have to be creative to refurbish pieces you have.
I would likt to replace my outer window scrapers, but cant find replacements - I may just use plastidip to Fill the cracking outer layer.
In a way Honda is smart not to keep producing parts for old Honda's, so people keep buying new Honda's...but in a way they seem selfish in not helping their customers with producing parts still for old cars.
I guess there is not enough demand to keep producing old Honda parts.

Robb, we should be able to find quite a few NOS Honda parts at warehouses in Europe and down under. There's a guy here, french guy I think, that has a 1G and a 2G that he keeps managing to find new rare parts for from Honda.
Any of you remember Panducky and Project Blues Clues?
Well, I bought the dash (cover) from it and promptly put it in storage.

PS - HOnda not producing the parts is selfish. It doesnt stop people from buying newer honda's, hell I've bought a bunch over the years. If anything you keep your cult following and die hard fans
My dad continually finds NOS parts for his 1G Civic in Aus and NZ. :shrugs:
damn sexy sweed, you need to start sending us parts in that case.
Gents - I made a find today while going through some old paperwork - a 1992 Han Motoring Wheel catalog! LOL, if you were in So Cal back in the day, Han was one of the bigger shops - so if you're trying to see what was available here in So Cal specifically for 91-92, I'll scan it and get it posted.

I installed a new clutch oem replacement and now the cable is just too tight , maybe I installed the disc backwards or something ?
So I have been looking at wings for my hatch...
All of these wings i see look like they have horrible fitment and look "meh" at best.
I am considering trying to customize my stock one.
I want a "race" inspired wing (I do plan on some track time at Larry Miller in Utah), maybe something aluminimum?
Or just a good ole' fashioned JDM wing?
What do you guys think?
