Just ordered t1 solid state relay, great customer service!

 

I've have good luck with carbon. Cervelo's warranty dept. is top notch. They had me a replacement in less than a week.

BAttery kill switch. I used a solenoid before and after a few uses **** the bed, I have read a few people complaining about them. Basically I hit the power switch and I hear the relay clicking so its "working" but no power on the car side.


These solid state ones lack moving parts thus leading to an increase in reliability abiet they are pricey at 195 buck. This is the final piece and the ***** is back on the road, I got plates yesterday.

No time, plus I really don't drive it all (its scares the **** out of me) so she is going away for a few years the end of this month. I accepted a post doctoral fellowship at University of Minnesota working in the center for renewable polymers and wish to focus on my career. Honestly its going to be safe at a friends house next to his, allowing me to sleep at night. I will pull it out when I get a real job, but for now its pretty much done other than cage and seats. I also need to focus funds on getting a newer truck and I still have the cbr for fun.

But the crx will see a track eventually, its just life right now and what is in the cards.

 

i have mixed feelings on that...yeah it's finished and your ed-u-ma-kation, but sad that it won't get driven

on a related note, may go to the british virgin islands to live for a few years if my wife gets the job she applied for. if that happens, i'm may consider selling the sedan so we can have some extra money

It is sad, butIm only making 40k and i want a single apartment, I have had roommates for the last 10 years+. Also I want to live in the city so I can experience city life, being single in my late 20s doesn't jive well in suburbia, where more garages are found. I will miss it, but sometimes we need to make sacrafices in live. Its not like I will never see it again, and honestly the only other option is sell it which is far worst in my eyes.

I may only be in minnesota for a year, maybe 2 max then who knows, It just didnt make sense to drive it 16 hrs across country to most likely sit.

Wekfest LA was pretty sick! Got to meet NickRPS but no CRX and Jim Harris along with some other EF guys. Everyone was super cool, think I may have talked to everyone there from some magazine editors like JDM wong and rodrez, Adam and Ken from Weaksauce, Big Mike.. to the Osaka JDM guys!
