The Official EF Discussion Thread
I'm not trying to be mean. I just think it conflicts with everything. It looks like a mint green color. Doesn't really flow with the rest of the car imo. Maybe if the wheel lips were a matching mint color...
I see what he's saying.. the color stands alone, needs to be tied together to something on the car... Destroyer has the right idea(with the matching rims) maybe just throw a similar stripe on your wheels... or lug nuts close to that color.. I would do the valve cover as well in the same color.
Another thing that just came to me. It does stand out, but the car looks very stock, so subconsciously I think I associate it with a stock civic with a big alumuminum wing. I'm not calling your car ricey or anything when I say that. Just that it's out of place. I think a white stripe would have made it look nice. Even though other people may have the white stripe, it looks good.
Yeah, I'm not taking any offense. I asked for your opinion, and I appreciate the honesty. Well my car's definitely in the process of being modified, and it does look very stock right now. I get suspension next week, and so hopefully it'll look a little better. When I first saw the stripe on there, I thought it looked kind of ricey, but it is what it is for now. I plan on putting more color around the car that matches the stripe for sure. I might even put a white stripe on for now (or none at all), and just put the teal stripe back on when I get more pieces that match that color. After all, I do have a giant roll of teal tape. I just wanted to get an idea of what that color would look like on my car.
yeah they won't fit on the scoob
but the wife wants a fit so I'm not completely selling out
and I may start another EF project later on. I still want to hit the track some day

you rock.B16CRXT, what do you think?
?
?Vega, I'm actually a lady, but how much are you selling your wheels for?
The silver one sold his rims and then again he did the color wrong too. When he refinished it they came out more blue then teal like they are supposed to be.
but they did look pretty baller on his car. When I first saw the pictures I nearly **** and I don't do that much over cars

I think I'm gunna get her a few cans of this. It's model paint so the cans are kinda small but it's the best color match I could find.
We're thinking of throwing a mirror polish on the faces before we paint the lips. The estimate for polishing is like 5-6 hrs a rim so if we both do it, it'll be a lot less strenuous.
This ish is dope. I'm pretty sure you actually just convinced me to paint the lips teal. My boyfriend had suggested it, but I wasn't sure whether to go with it or not. It looks good dropped too. Thanks for shopping that.
you rock.

I think if you could polish the face of the wheels, it would also look 100X better!
