The cheap RainX work good or I am now using the goodyear from costco. Don't bother buying expensive ones.

Hotsauce, the easiest way to remove stuff you don't need it to start at the source of the plug. I.e start at the plug that goes into the AC, and work your way backwards, one wire at a time. I left in some of the wires to have a 12v supply when I did mine. FSM comes in handy. It's nothing hard. Just very tedious and sometimes frustrating.
Yeah, I guess I mean more along the lines of what Rywire did in his rex.. nice little milspec grommets the whole nine, somewhat unnecessary but not to the owner! Guess I need more of a final plan to go that route, the ever evolving plan changes too much! I cleaned a lot of the wiring up myself already too.

Junky- Sick pics man.. may have to steal one for the FB page. ;-)

Chemist- I like how you kept the lid coming out the cowl.. good idea.

Blue, when you flag, do you get a hotel, etc? Does the group cover those costs or no? Just curious.

So so so want to be at Vir right now

You even got the mix matched doors to go with it! lol

Can't wait to drive the damn thing.

Oh yeah, so bad news. I found two rust spots in the roof gutters on each side. So bad that there are a few holes through the car. Does anyone know of any carbon roof replacements?

when i flag anywhere outside of VIR i get a hotel. NASA pays...even better when my wife flags b/c we get our own room instead of sharing with other workers. when i flag at VIR i usually just drive home and come back in the morning

trust me...you didn't. worst event ever for me. wasn't just the rain, the wind, the cold, or the ice, but the combination of all 4 at the same time coupled with people still wanting to drive nearly froze out there. but we ended early b/c just about everyone had left.

Flagged the Oak Tree today. first time at that station...amazing how close you are to the action
