The Official EF Discussion Thread
Good to hear but just keep and eye on it, mine is clean and they just rust protected it last week for free.
I was anti truck until I moved in with my girlfriend who had a full size Chevy short bed 5.3L. I've hauled god knows how many sets of wheels/tires, bags of mulch, dirt, flowers for the yard, cinder blocks, 1000lbs of pea gravel for Matt (NaAllTheWaySlow), a chopped up EF shell for Matt again, an entire 10'x30' storage unit's contents, helped a few people move including myself, and it is fun to drive with loads of torque and power. Only problem is I'm cursed by the 4L80E shitty transmission problems. Hard shifts, lack of shifting in to overdrive sometimes, and occasional slipping off the start..... Oh well.

I mean, c'mon...Ford F-series is the MOST sold vehicle in the US. That's over any passenger car you can think of. Goes to show Americans love their trucks.

I'm lovin' it already. I hauled a 992lb double convection oven four hours back from Dallas with it the first day. I'm wishing I would have had it over the last few years parting out all those EFs...
i use my Cruiser all the time to haul cars, trailers, and especially when we move or help someone move. Since it seats 8, my kids and their friends all fit in it. It's not something I drive everyday or would want to. The best feature i believe it has is the sliding rear window.
i remember Top Gear doing an episode with the Lightning. Trucks aren't as practical over there as they are in the States.
