Nick, Boosted.. which lines did you go with? I have stainless lines on my daily that have to be close to 5years as well. still need to order lines for my crx as well.
Id drop the whole shabang.. the spree your on lately, mine as well! I always found it easier myself. Get that oil pan on yet?

We got the battery/fuse box in -Na-All-The-Way's- car all wired up and ready to try and start the car today! We had power to the car for the first time in a year and heard the starter turn for the first time in a year, FELT REALLY GOOD. For some reason it isn't getting spark though... We think it's either the ECU or a wiring problem. The only visible problem we have other than the lack of spark is the Coolant temp sensor wiring is wrong on the Rywire harness.... I think the pins on the plug were not in the right place or something. It melted the plug and caused some nice little electrical smoke and damn near fire....

too many pics of wrecked red things in this thread. at least the one of my car was kinda blurry.
i might buy a print of that pic (the one with the flag) from the photographer and put it in my garage.

If only the focusing was the other way around! Nice pic though...
It wasn't intended as bashing him, we were just surprised that it happened.... Ryan knows Matt pretty well and I'm sure he'll make it right or at least help us out with a new plug or something. I don't think there was any permanent damage to anything but the plug....

oh snap! I couldn't even tell. And I would laugh at you...that's bad karma. It's not really "if" you ever hit a tire wall...it's "when." I'm sure it's bound to happen to me some day.
haha
its not a number plate or anything making the door look dented.
its a massive dent making it look dented. the window couldnt roll up without a prybar session. HAHA
man i'm glad thats fixed and i can forget about it. lol
on a lighter note...i've been building a lemons car w/my brother, some buddies, and the aid (car donated, hes gonna be on the team) of CRXlee of Koni fame.
we ran it last saturday for a hard shakedown...put a "casual" 200 miles on it on track, in an afternoon. it was beyond awesome.
pics in a while, photobucket BLOCKED at work. i own the company...why is photobucket blocked? odd.

i'm lazy when it comes to cars...but i believe a friend of mine is going to take everything...the ss brake lines, spindles, windows, and interior. too much work for me to do lol i believe after he gets done it'll be totally stripped save for the sunroof and rear seats
I've been out of touch for a while.
Blu, I'm glad you survived, but I'm sad about your EF. I hope you find a nice shell to replace her.
Chemist, thanks again for the IAT sensor.
Nick, I emailed Ryan about the harness. He has a good rep so I trust he'll take care of it. *Ninja Edit: I just got an email back from someone at Rywire. They want me to send the harness back for them to investigate.*
Does anyone have an OBD1 D series Vtec dizzy laying around? Mine may need to be replaced. Gotta sort that and the wiring issue out.

I know we don't do for sale posts in here, but this **** is for free for you guys if you want it. Just pay for shipping. I'm almost done remodeling the garage and need to clear things out. If I think of anything else I'll post it up. If you guys don't buy it, it's going in the garbage. I have no need for this stuff. Pics can be provided upon request.
FREE:
-D16A6 head - Was given to me with purchase of my wagovan since it had a rebuilt head with isky valvetrain, etc. This was the original head with about 200k miles on it
-D16A6 valve cover - has a welded bung on it for a catch can
-D16A6 valve cover gasket kit (wish spark plug seals) - Bought it brand new and never installed it
-D16 flywheel (left it out in the rain last week and now it's coated in surface rust. I had this resurfaced and found out it was the bigger of the two d-series flywheel sizes

all that's left is to take out the engine, trans, and axles
