Thanks. PIC Coilovers. I ran them before on my EK coupe. LOVED them. 8 noticeably different damping settings. And not bouncy at all. Spring rates are 12/14. Yeah, stiff. But I used to daily on those rates... So we'll see.
I'm leaning towards getting tuned first and then taking it to get my cage fab'd. I was going to do it vice versa but I planned to swap my Impreza the weekend before my spring break, 3/3.

What kind of muffler is and how does it sound? Ive always like those types of mufflers that take on the stock design, but always find them to be real raspy. Ive always like the sound of n1/canister style mufflers
Thanks. 3in stainless with a resonator and dynomax muffler. I originally intended to run a carsound cat but in the end decided not to. Gotta let the haters know I'm cammin haha
Edit: I haven't picked it up yet but I'll be sure to get a proper video of it soon.
Double edit: I'm not sure Destroyer. Like I said, I don't have the car back yet. I have the Full ASR kit sitting right next to me in the box still but I don't think I'm running it because I already biased my spring rates. I'm actually supposed to sell the kit locally this week,.

My night

99% CRX stuff, my friend had a field day, so far I just grabbed a si cluster and getting some fog lights in decent condition
My buddies grabbed ST sway bars, full interiors, seats, ?lexan? windows. We will be back. He also had b16's, LS and 1.5 and 1.6 l sohc sitting around. MANY bumpers, doors etc for CRX. We didnt even scratch the surface

I have rear biased rates as well, and the car still understeers a bit, but they are roughly 75-100lbs lower than yours. Guess you wont know till you drive it hard.
When I had the setup on my EK coupe, same exact spring rates, it oversteered in Autox.
But yeah, after looking at the pictures, it looks like there wouldn't be any clearance for a sway bar. It could just be the angle though. Nothing a little toe in can't fix!

Upon delivery -
cracked windshield, bad fuel pump, half tank of gas from 2006, bad main relay, pass door wont open, shocks blown, no cat, non carb header and intake, no wheels (borrowed some to get it home), empty brake res, moldy/mildew interior...

And after a real good initial cleaning by my friend while I was doing his girlfriend's oil change -

Sorry these were at night, i'll try to post some I took after the windshield was replaced. So far coming along.
i know this forum is only welcome to people who love everything that nick does, but I gotta be honest....I really do not like those aftermarket front bumpers, fenders, wings, etc. I know nick actually gets use out of those parts, and gets more use out of his car (performance-wise) then anyone else in this thread. But as far as appearance goes, I put that in the same category as the black widow crx from 2002.
And just so nobody gets hurt I will point out that Nicks car before the most recent modifications was one of my favorites....I loved it.

Anyways, it's all good dude. THANK YOU to everyone who complimented the new set-up and the prior set-up. I actually am not completely sold on it after all the work. I love my fenders (one has to be repainted and you can see it in the picture near the sideskirt), and the flares are going to help me stuff 245/45s up front, but the hood doesn't fit the best and the bumper is just...meh. It doesn't sit as low as I thought it would.
The bumper actually fits really well, but I realized that I cared a little too much about how the car looks the past few months...and that's just not me. I'll be throwing on my USDM front end and hood and my new (again) airdam setup and hitting the track hard again this year (I don't track nearly as much as Adam though. He's the ultimate track *****).
People either love or hate my car, and that's cool with me. I've had it for 9 years and 8 months and it'll continue to change to my liking
And besides, has anyone seen an actual J's bumper on a moving car in the US or Canada...EVER? I haven't. So I did it. Yay, I guess. Now I'll move aside and wait for Chris to finish his car. That thing is going to be AWESOME!
DJ Murdoch:
Kudos to you. My thoughts EXACTLY
I actually like it for the fact that its different, not the same old "must build car with this part or this part or the Honda world will shun me"
You dont need to defend your car Nick.
I like it, but something is throwing me off about the flares. I dont know if its the two tone or what. Maybe its just the metallic paint, haha I cant put a finger on it, but the flares look larger than on other crx's. The fenders are sick regardless.
It is cool though, shame you arent going to track that bumper.

Now I'm thinking I may need to do a track day with this bumper...hmmmm
