haha
i didnt say it was clean, i just said it passed! hah
they test only idle now (used to be dyno test, but they are phasing out pre OBD2 cars now, so i only had to pass one more time, and no more dyno)
only idle test, and they test carbon monoxide, allow 1.2%, i had .1%, and hydrocarbons, allow 220 PPM, i had 104
not bad IMO..haha</TD></TR></TABLE>
There are a few counties left in CA that are exempt from the dyno test and just do an idle/2500rpm test. (Typically only the very rural parts of the state). My last car (1996 Integra) was smogged out in one of those counties before I bought it.
They only allowed 100ppm MAX HC at idle, and 1.0% of CO.

TSX projectors with 85122+ bulbs. Retains full adjustability...just need to make a nice chrome shroud for it now
?
Btw, stainless hardware is

look clean... a buddy of mine did this in a set of DSM headlights...the fluting (sp?) of the lens really messes up the cutoff... He ended up taking them back apart and sanded every bit of the fluting out of the lense... they worked/looked great after that... im not kidding, the day he finished an aftermarket company came out with clear lense replacement lens's...

Lol, dang that sucks about the clear lenses
. Yeah, I noticed when I fired up the projectors that the color at the cutoff is affected by the fluting. The cutoff itself though is still there. I'm thinking of just sanding out a circle where the projector is but I haven't decided yet. It's already a lot of work to properly wetsand/polish headlights so I can only imagine sanding the fluting down/trying to get it polished perfectly

who has H&R Race springs or NEUSPEED Race springs? i wanna see a comparison. i know i'll like the spring rates on the NEUSPEED springs better, but i had a bad experience drop quality wise on my old DA. DA's are tough to drop with non-adjustable springs though...

yeah he just sat there while watching tv with sand paper... I think the circle Ideal is better especially if you can get a clean circle

Depends on what the car has and how it was done. Plenty of junk out there but also some 'nice' ones that justify the cost. Im willing to bet most of them are junk

I had Neuspeeds, and they were horrible. Plus the front end was substantially lower than the back with the K. The spring rates are hella soft. I had H&R Sports in the past on another vehicle, and loved them. I now have PIC Selects, just need to get it together. They feel hella stiff, should be neat.

Around 5k sounds pretty reasonable if the car has decent suspension, a legit paintjob, and a clean B16 swap
. Btw, the fit does fine on the grapevine...driven to SoCal a few times in my stepdad's 5 speed Fit on the 5. I take the 101 now almost all the time because it's fairly flat, but the fit did alright up hills. Just drop it into 4th

very interesting. the H&R Race springs are supposed to be softer then the NEUSPEED springs. in fact, the NEUSPEED springs are some of the stiffest spring rates according to this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1
front: 10.2 Kg/mm / 575 Lbs/in
rear: 9.6 Kg/mm / 540 Lbs/in
compared to the H&R Race springs:
front: 8.4 Kg/mm / 470 Lbs/in
rear: 6.4 Kg/mm / 360 Lbs/in
are those numbers accurate?
this is my old hatch with H&R Race springs....B18C up front. i'm thinking thats why it dropped down as much up front. but the ride wasn't very stiff at all:

Well, you have to factor into account the fact that Neuspeed/H&R use progressive spring rates in the rear so the ride isn't as harsh as say GC's with a linear 500lb rear spring rate
