I'll PM you my cell number. I'll buy some drinks if you want to meet for awhile. Funny you mention the prego thing. My wife is at home, 6mo. prego.

Okay guys, I need some input here. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm gonna do with the crx/civic.
Should I keep the crx stock and clean and mess with the salvage title civic (racing, autox, etc).
or should i swap the b16, and other worthwhile susp pieces over to the crx and just make the civic a budget cruiser?

Cool, that works and what I was originally thinking - I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't be considered wasting a good crx.

no no no, put the b16 and good parts in the crx. make it everything you ever wished it to be.
use the civic for your daily/utility/beater/pick up truck
the difference is the MILAGE

RSZero, i would reccomend getting a DD and keeping one of the EF's... Dump all the fun into one of those cars and drive to work in the comfort of something else...

Actually have a nice DD. Both the crx and the civic are for fun.
In looking at the responses, you can see why I'm on the fence about this.

I would drop a d series in the civic to get really good milage. My b16a hatch gets 30-33 mostly highway without beating on it. I wish i could get 40+

See I debated that too. My D16A6 in the crx is freshly rebuilt, with the ZC non VTEC head and cam, DC header with all new goodies - waterpump, belts, alt, radiator, etc.
So I considered swapping the powerplants and throwing the sway bars and strut tower bars from the civic onto the crx (Neuspeed Strut and ST sway) with my Koni GC Combo.
Since the crx is all original, it seemed a shame to pull it all apart - heck, it even still has the stock intake snorkel along the radiator.
On the other hand, since the crx is so clean, it's make sense to put all the good parts in that and run the budget stuff in the car with the salvage title.
But if I'm beating on a car at the track, i'd prolly want it to be the civic and if that's the case, i'd want the upgraded power and susp on that car.
I'll prolly end up bringing both cars to the Griffith park meet and maybe get some more ideas before I really tear into either.

LOL, no worries, since all of this my wife and daughter have been even more into all this. My daughter is looking forward to resurrecting the civic with me and my wife is looking forward to sporting the CRX to events - as long as she can drive it (i.e. nothing too radical - and she can reach the pedals) she's 5' even and with the sparco in there, she barely reaches.
Either way I'll be there.
