Black EF, Black Wheels
I know if i get black wheels, i want them glossy like the car above. Its tough finding glossy black wheels that i like...might have to do some custom work.

For those with Koni Yellows/GC + GC tophats. Which perch are you guys putting your circlips on?
I tried the lowest perch and that requires the spring to be maxed out on the threaded sleeves (doesn't look to be too safe). I'm thinking most run em' on the middle perch? On the lowest circlip setting + the GC's dumped all the way on short springs front/rear I can probably literally slam the car down on it's framerails with a few threads to spare
Btw, just clarification but I'll need to grind the welded nuts off of the rear shocks to run the 22mm ST rear sway, correct? Is there any way to get around this? I don't really want to void the lifetime warranty
Thanks in advance!

I forget who told me this, but just turn the strut around so the nut is facing the other way

Yeah, I had the ksports until a month or so ago. They were alright, but definitely not 100% happy with them. Sold em' and now I'm Koni/custom GC. Hopefully I won't regret it

I just picked up some k sports for my EF. I read mixed reviews on them, so for the price i had to try em out myself.

Who else is running Koni/GC in here? I'm about to order mine. Where did you buy from? What spring rates are people running?

I got mine from THmotorsports (vendor on here). 4 Koni yellows, 4 GC extended tophats, and 450/500 lb rates front/rear respectively. No idea how they ride yet, but I've only really heard good reviews
What sold the Koni/GC setup to me was the lifetime warranty and companies that stand behind their products. Not to mention if anything ever goes wrong both companies have US distributors that will take care of your problem quickly.

Yeah, they were alright for the price but the reason why I wasn't 100% satisfied with them was:
a) I got the OTS rates
b) I have an autopower boat anchor cage
both of which probably contributed to the unsatisfactory ride. I felt like they were not stiff enough for me. There were other reasons but those were the main ones. With a stock car they should be pretty good

first i ran 350f 250r (ots kit), it was too soft and i was bottoming out a bit.
Upgraded to 450f and moved the 350 to the rear, I like it ALOT, handles well and rides so much better than my old tockio blows and skunk2 setup i had on my previous crxer

I have first gen omnipower Street Coilovers. Initially i had 10kF/8kR (564 lb/ft F & 450 lb/ft) springs and they were pretty damn stiff. Since the car was daily driven for a stint i ordered custom 6k (337 lb/ft) springs and swapped the 8k (450 lb/ft) to the front and the 6k (337 lb/ft) for the rear. This is the setup that i currently have. It is pretty civil for the the street, yet still pretty stiff. I like it
