good point.
I'm having a tough time deciding. I need springs soon. preferably before i drive the car around too much.

very interesting. the H&R Race springs are supposed to be softer then the NEUSPEED springs. in fact, the NEUSPEED springs are some of the stiffest spring rates according to this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1
front: 10.2 Kg/mm / 575 Lbs/in
rear: 9.6 Kg/mm / 540 Lbs/in
compared to the H&R Race springs:
front: 8.4 Kg/mm / 470 Lbs/in
rear: 6.4 Kg/mm / 360 Lbs/in
are those numbers accurate?
this is my old hatch with H&R Race springs....B18C up front. i'm thinking thats why it dropped down as much up front. but the ride wasn't very stiff at all:
</TD></TR></TABLE>
My car with H&R Sports was a gutted D series hatch. The Neuspeeds were on the KRX for one summer. It felt way too soft, and way too low for as stiff as it was. The car handled horribly. I was using KYB AGXes at that time too, with a ST rear bar. I am not sure if those numbers for the neuspeeds are accurate, because they sucked on my car, my 10k fr 12k rear PICs are waaaaaay stiffer, without a doubt.

yea, i eventually would like to get some 8k/10k Ground Controls, but i wanna get at least a little track time in before i make too many drastic changes....i'm already overdoing it with the power i plan on making.
My hatch runs. Started it tonight. The CEL is on, but it could be from the coolant air bubbles. Only ran the car for a few minutes because I've been working on it all weekend.
Well we made more progress on the home front and I pulled all the old cabinetry out of the apt kitchen and half of the old linoleum as well as getting a new fridge delivered and set up. (this was Sat afternoon to Sunday nite.)
Place looks a world better.
My friend came over Friday after has last day at his old job and gave me crap for letting the civic just sit there while working on the house stuff.
So after he left, I decided I was gonna hook up the battery and start it up.
Then I decided I should pull the broken headlight and remove it so i can take the car up and down the street for a test drive.
Because the bulkhead is bent slightly, I decided to remove the damaged trim to remove the headlight.
To remove the trim, I pulled the bumper.
So I ended up pulling the bumper, the trim piece above the bumper, the broken headlight and for the heck of it, the damaged hood.
AND since I had that all apart, I took the bent radiator support off and transfered all the pieces from it to the good one I picked up from Adam (MR CRX).
That enough...nope. Went to lowes to pick up stuff for the apt project and picked up a nice deadblow hammer and a rubber mallet, hoping to pound the bent headlight bucket (front left bulkhead) back into shape.
Get home and realize I can unbolt the piece, and buy a replacement, saving the hassle of pounding it back into shape.
Jumped up and down on damaged hood for the f*ck of it.
I can't wait for the house stuff to be done so I can really concentrate on the cars again. I told my wife I was gonna buy a bunch of parts when we're done. She said I should since they seem to be getting harder to get. I am a happy man.

Just finished doing some small details but retrofit is pretty much done. Still need to fab up some custom bezels to cover the projectors but overall I'm very happy with the fit/finish:

Also did the color mod on the TSX projectors and when I fired them up again I could make out some blue/purple flicker at the cutoff again through the fluted lenses
.
Should I sand and polish out circles where the projectors are for a razor sharp cutoff or leave as-is to preserve the lines of the EF? I'm thinking leave em' but at the same time I want a razor sharp cutoff with a lot of color
They should accent the projector fogs quite nicely though

Just need another J's lip now

I believe it helped quite a bit. I was able to carry more speed through some of the sweepers and the car felt more solid over the two small hills at Buttonwillow.
I drove the car to a personal best of 2:06. I had a Honda Challenge buddy drive the car on Saturday and he hit a 2:01. Absolutely incredible. To put that in perspective, the Hasport K20 supercharged car runs a 1:58. My car pulled 2:01's with an oem diff. that was acting like a damn open diff, omni crapper coil overs, and the use of no rear sway bar (I need one now that I've gotten a bit faster and the car is starting to push).
All in all, it was a fun weekend.
