A stock B16.. But comparing a "built" motor to a stock motor isn't really a fair comparo
when i had my ls with i/h i never got beat by a integra with a b16 nor a 99-00 si.

this a stock for stock graph the ls creates more power than the b16 until it bounces limiter.

I understand and don't really care about either motor. But all these comparisons don't make sense. If you're speaking of "races" then driver plays 99% of that...........

Ok cool, that's good enough for me.
They are AN so they can take the heat.

So my tach was still being all crazy today. So I figured it was still some water or something in the distributor from the rad hose busting.
Took the cap off to find the rotor screw sitting in the bottom and the rotor just wobbling around. The screw was completely stripped and the threads on the dizzy are F'ed up.
Going to try and hit the threads with a tap to see if it helps.

hell i dont care either i dont even worry about them. but in a street roll race which most of the people do on here, the driver isnt the deciding factor. you just shift at redline and go. haha, hell most of the people here cant even launch their car properly.

A B16 S1/J1/YS1 trans should be at 4500 rpm's at 80MPH. If you're at 4k at 80 it's definitely an LS or S1/YS1 non-vtec transmission.

Duma I don't think you have a b16 transmission buddy.

Yea, I don't have an extra one though
Just gonna tap it and see if I can fix it.
Still baffled how that screw would work itself out like that!

I have a YS1 and I think cruising at 80mph my rpms are a bit higher. I know tire and all have a lot to do with it. I'll have to remember next time I drive the car.

yea the screw does that, ive had the screw holding one of the sensors back out and hit a gear on the shaft and lock the dizzy up, jump my intake timing, and destroy the shaft. **** sucks.

as for the ys1, yea its a nasty shortgeared trans. i would have had one, i found on in orlando for 200 bucks, drove down there and the dude jacked the price on me to 650 after he told me he didnt have one....****ed up business from a salvage yard huh? i then just rebuild me Y1 with carbon syncros and new sleeves.

I rebuilt mine with the same parts. Gearspeed!
Drives like a dream!
About to put new bushings in and a DC dual bend shifter. Should be more enjoyable.

Alright guys, like many of you I love my DA Integra, but there still seems to be a lack of aftermarket body parts as far as prepping the 90-93 DA Integra for drag racing. I have been searching high and low for someone to do me a three piece front end, similar to the jojo callos front ends. Just wide body for bigger slicks and a sick look.

Well, I contacted exospeed and they told me if I could get atleast 10 more people that wants a 3 piece DA front end kit, they will manufacture it. The cost they quoted at 10 people is $850 each, obviously, that would drop lower and lower the more folks we find ready to jump on this. So, I come to all my DA brother's and ask, Who's in?

yeah, my LS transmission was at exactly 3.5 at 80 MPH. This transmission is at a little over 4k. Its a b16 transmission, with LSD, and you can see LSD written on the casing. Perhaps its because my speedo cable is messed up, and could be reading incorrect speed. But if you look online, not every b16 transmission has the same gear ratios

Your tach and speedometer must be way off then. Non-VTEC transmission would be around 3800 at 80MPH with stock tire specs or close to it. The only b16 cable transmission that's different is the Y1/Y1 with LSD and usdm B17 YS1 but not by much.

my car is on 195 50 15's, would that affect it at all? Could be that its been reading incorrect for many years hahaha. My ls was always at 3.5k, but you say its supposed to be 3.8k, so maybe since im at 4k at 80 now, 4.3k at 80 sound a little more resonable

Tire size does not effect the speedometer reading, it effects actual speed, but your speedo isn't dependent on tire size. This is because the speedometer isn't calculating actual speed, it's determining the speed of the car based on the speed of a gear in the transmission.
