Nope. The logs showed the same boost plots. 18.7 psi. The compressor was sucking all the hot air from the wastegate, making my intake air temps hotter, therefore, robbing horsepower. My buddy's car did the same thing and gained the same power a couple years back, only they did his car as an experiment with a long 90 degree bend.

The post my tuner SOHC MShue was talking about.

While that front spring rate isn't crazy soft, the rear is pretty darn soft, not to mention the huge difference from front to back. But really it depends on what you're looking for. A quick search gave me 263 lb/in 143 lb/in as the stock DA spring rates. I haven't looked at those numbers in a long time, but they seem about right (but I cant say for sure).

Check out this thread for some interesting talk about spring rates and some listed rates for various lower springs which typically have had much softer rates than we see with current coilover setups.

keep in mind that this suspension set up isnt going to be used for track or cornering, only looking for a smooth ride that will be comfy for my son and not too bouncy

Why can't you get something to work with that, that is an easy bend. I need to post pics of my setup and then you'll see a real headache. Gotta get a dump soon though!

Yeah, that's why I qualified it with "what you're looking for". If you're looking for comfy, then those are some decent rates. "Bounce" will be dictated by your shocks, not your springs. A soft spring will bounce horribly on a blown or under-damped shock. A stiff spring will not bounce on a high quality properly damped shock.

I've been spracking on DA Integras for 10 years. If I didn't know a lot by now, I'd have to be retarded or something.

What I found really funny is that I looked back in my old notebooks from my Freshman year in college (2001) and there are all kinds of "doodles" that I drew of DAs while in class. That was before I even bought my DA. I was researching and plotting my car 2+ years before I even bought it.

Hence: "This aint my first rodeo, cowboy."

Just extend it under the oil pan homie, or at least downward towards the ground right in front of the pan, you'll be fine after that. Has the car been dynoed? Because if so, if you redo your dumptube without a retune, it may cause a lean condition, being that you'll be sucking in more available oxygen & less hot exhaust gases.

If not, at least take it to get some baseline runs done, to make sure your AFR's are reading correctly. Does the car have a wideband?

Just finished my valve cover.
Turned out different....... LoL
The color was an OEM Ford paint, Mocha metallic bronze.
Turned out like a sand, khaki color with metallic flake in it.
Just finished putting my last coat of clear on it.

Will post some pics tomorrow when it dries.
