It is tuned and it runs fine!
No boost leaks, those are silly problems, which people who overlook quality materials like T bolt clamps and good couplers have.

Any car that is attempting to make power WILL have issues, all motor or turbo, plain and simple.
i made 216/160 without issues. Only issue i had was when i first started it up, i forgot to plug in the IAT sensor and had a CEL.

Also the guy i sold it to put cams in and some better bolt ons and made 232/17* without any issues. i guess that isn't 400 horsepower, but i thought it was fast.

one more note: It would not be the same thing as an all motor car's header breaking. As you said, there isn't as much pressure flowing through an N/A header so if a header broke I'd blame it on a POS header. But what caused the manifold you have to break? was it the "pressure" you speak of?

i'll tend to blame every issue your car has from here on out on that "pressure." If we met and you told me that your hatch was leaking, i would (sarcastically) blame the turbo.

I guess I wasn't clear enough, anyone attempting to push the boundaries of their motor will have issues. If you would rebuilt and were trying to squeeze every last bit of power out of it, its not normal for problems to exist.

yea. that's something i learned awhile ago, and have since decided that if i need to take the cylinder head off the engine to do what i want with it, it's not for me. That's just looking for trouble. I mean for doing something like LS/VTEC or building an engine for more power, not buying an engine and doing a head gasket on it before putting it in. I've always felt like the engineers at Honda did a very nice job designing and building their engines. And i trust them more then the best engine builder in my area. That's why in my personal opinion, the best way to make the maximum power in a swapped honda is doing a K-swap. that's just my opinion.

any fool behind the counter at the auto parts store can tell you that.

check the part numbers from auto zone. you're likely to get your answer to a question like that faster by researching then asking the question here and waiting for an answer.

BTW, the answer is yes, they will fit.

No modifications, swapping everything from the DC over bolts straight up.

matt how good do you think my hydro gsr shift linkage would be? i dont really see a point in buying a typer linkage if i already have a gsr linkage laying around. as far as i know they're the same other then the color aren't they? i know when i last used it in my civic it was nice and tight. my da linkage is just horrible
