It is stamped on the inside of the turbine housing just below the flange

This thread makes me want a Holset! Anyone have or know where to find a list maybe of what trucks these come from. I'm lookin for a HX40 or HX50. It would be easier to know what they come from when i get looking around.

hey holset masters!!! lol, well im jumping on the holset bandwagon again for the second year, last year i was running and hx35w on my ek b16 hatch, i fell in love other then my traction issues with it hahaha... long story short had to sell the hatch to get into a house. so i thought it would be time to resurrect my very first honda thats been sitting for some years now a 90 crx, i picked up a b16a2 from a 2000 civic si with only 90k on it, i will be running a similiar setup to my ek hatch but with an hx40 i just picked. here are some quick pics i took before i left work, i shaved all the markings i could from the intake side and will be sending the hotside and manifold off to get a fresh new ceramic coating and polished intake compressor, i will keep you posted with pics hope you guys enjoy

also i am going to try something a little different then i did with my hx35w last year i did just a mild port on the exhaust side to see how much it would increase flow and eliminate some of that lag time it worked very well to my suprise, so with this hx40 i went alot farther with the port work to i gasket matched it and am going to try a knife edge on the center section since i will be useing a single port manifold rather then a twin scroll. i will keep you updated with progress, as of right now the ports are rough cut and still need cleaning.

z6 with Vitaras, FJ spec rods, 59300, crower springs and retainers, twin scroll manifold, hx35 with a 12cm housing, 3" open down pipe. this is at 14psi and a street tune. the next two pulls i did 237hp/193tq and 242hp/198tq. thought i'd throw in some info for the guys that want to run one of these on a D.

cam at 0*, ignition turned to 16*, it was only for drivability, not for power... the reason for my post was more so to show the curve and when i hit boost, rather than the power. thanks for you concern though

Hey projcrxday! I was wondering if you could elaborate on the benifits of porting your turbine housing? I am thinking about doing the same to mine and would like to know some people's experience with this.

b-series guys.. On the HX35s when are you seeing full boost and how much boost are you running? Also please state which size housing you have.

Trying to get an idea of what spool would be like on my GSR with a log manifold... Thanks.
