Where I would clamp the coupling down, the diameter of the housing is small and I'm worried about leaks...

My 6765 took a **** on my S2000. So I put HE341 on it. It made 522whp@25-26psi.

Tuff as nails!

Default HE351cw stock b16a

Up for those who are interested... turbo is off 06 cummins 5.9. Car made 305/200 at 10.8psi boost pressure, Evans tuned.... pretty conservative tune, probably a lot more in the car, just didnt want to push it with the way I drive the car. Dyno Video posted. Hope this gives some insight to those who want to try this turbo... Its a bit big for the b16a.... 5200 rpms before boost starts coming on, but overall very happy with the turn out.

Setup:
Bone stock b16a bottom end, ARP head studs,
stock B16a head with GSR cams, CTR valve springs
ID1000's
Full-race ramhorn
Full-race tial 44 MVR gate
Custom piping, fabbing, Backmotorsports built (nasteboyii on here)
Greddy BOV (dont think its working well as you can hear surge I think in video)
3" Exhaust with CAT onto a Cutout
S300 with boost by gear option
GSR trans, ITR limited slip

thats my oiling setup on a HE351cw turbo (which is pretty similar).... as per Holset, the turbo can not see more than 75psi oil pressure for any length of time, so as long as ur under that you should be fine.

Pretty n00b to these turbo's and turbo car's in general lol. But do you HAVE to run a twin scroll type manifold for these turbo's?

absolutely not, however running a twin scroll manifold will cut down on spool up time by 500rpms or so.... but its not necessary

I run a 9cm housing on my setup... see above in this page. Its a 60mm compressor, 60mmturbine (he351cw). your spoolup should be about the same as me, maybe slightly faster.

The H1c is actually smaller than the He351cw now that I think of it, so you should see boost no later than 4.5-5k i would imaigne.

There is really no reason why you shouldent have a holeset on your car unless you want 500+whp

and even at that power level there are holsets out there that can make that power and beyond.... From what I have read, holset wheel design is quite advanced and rivals that of the garrett GT series.

The drain is a standard t3 fitting, and the feed is a 12mm by 1.5 pitch, then just add your -3an feed or -4an, whatever you want.... I think Im using a 4AN
