Using the bulkhead gives me that one connection inside the car (which is what I wanted to avoid).. but thats the point of a bulkhead. I may just be a little over cautious, I have seen people set up like that, doesnt mean its right/safe though.
I would leave them out of the car, just adapt to AN... I wish our cars had them underneath like EG etc or even had the return next to the feed, not on the other side of the bay.. ugh

Yeah, being spread apart is killing me! I want to run hard line on the passenger side so all the fluid (fuel, brake) lines run inside the car but as far away as possible. How do you feel about running new stainless line (say a bit bigger in 3/8 so -6an converts right over)?
I can then route them to wherever I like on the firewall as well. (and no need for a blue tube nut/sleeve in -5an!)

Hot Sauce- Not sure if you have this link but it explains alot of fuel stuff and I think gets to what the goal is. I think there is some talk of black fittings as well.

ORRRRRR Just get the fullblown dual pump setup... run one pump and use AN lines from that... more money but simple.

Any one have an extra ef engine harness gasket (the one that goes between the firewall and the harness)?

Yeah, I have seen that for the last few years, thanks though... Its funny to look back at some of chase's old posts and see him asking questions about how to make the lines, what filter to use, and then he started selling them and made his own write up 2 months later..

This was the original thread: (12-3-05)https://honda-tech.com/forums/tech-misc-15/how-convert-oem-fuel-feed-hard-line-braided-flex-line-fittings-1452210/

Anyway.... Im not really concerned with how to assemble them or what not.. its more detailed than that. Im being OCD with it is the problem.. Im talking about routing all new hardline and plumbing from the tank back. (if money wasnt an issue id replace the tank too!)
Will not be using compression fittings or anything like that either.. Flared lines, tube nuts and sleeves.. Im not just concerned with what people see.

You might want to talk to some others who have done this stuff.. im not sure how easy it would be to bend -6 stainless line (dont forget the bend radius is bigger than -3) If its in the car you should be able to run Cunifer line... it can be bent by hand and is used by some OEMs. If you choose to run softline inside the car just remember unless you get the $$$ teflon/kevlar line you will have fuel weep..

I know alot of people run aluminium fittings/nuts/sleeves for brakes... personally I will only use stainless where you can see it or regular steel where you cant..

Anyone know if re-routing a IAT sensor to the intake tube on our stock engine is a good idea? meaning if it will still work the same?

My tuner told me to put mine on the intake arm. The readings are less skewed by heat at that location. the sensor gets heat-soak on the manifold.

There's something wrong with my final drive. It's straight?

I'm so stoked to get the new trans back in and get it tuned. Can't wait to see the numbers.
