Ill put higher trust in tire rack tests than a simple blanket statement.

Try driving on General Altimax HPs. They are great all weather tires with great dry and wet traction, but the sidewalls are soft as hell and not very responsive.they are also cheap, which is a plus for me, but I wont buy them again because of the sidewall weakness.

The Fuzion ZRi tires that i have personal experience with were terrible in comparison to other comparable tires i have owned.

Less enough of a blanket statement? maybe your Fuzion ZRi tires will be better then the ones i owned?

personal experience with the exact product in question. i had them on my car for about 2 years. They were awful in every condition. including hot/dry pavement. Seriously if i drove with the Fuzion's the way i drive with the Pole Positions i have now, my car would've been totaled.

I'm comparing them to Hankook Ventus, BFG Potenza Pole Positions, Yokohama ADVAN S4, Yokohama s.Drives, and BFG G-Force Sports.

BFG doesnt make Pole Positions, they are made by Bridgestone, which oddly enough is the same company that manufactures Fuzion Tires. I guess I will see how I like them, but the switch saved me close to 130.00 on tires.

Also for the amount of money you spend on the above mentioned tires you are in range of far better performance tires.

not sure. Pretty high though. I've had them over a year now and they still have plenty of tread left.

Is that coming off the corkscrew at Laguna Seca?

You ever see this car out there?

Street tires, schmeet tires. Maybe I'm getting old, but when I needed new Azenis for my wagon, I went with the Falken 512's instead. I hate the road noise of "high performance" street tires.

Yes, that's the corkscrew. I cropped the picture a bit. As for that red hatch...I dunno man, I've seen A LOT of red hatches at different track events. I was one of two FF cars at this most recent Porsche Owners Club event. The other was a douche in a SRT-4.

that would be nice but id need one twice the width. heres a picture of the header without the wrap. no overlapping pipes will hopefully help out with ground clearence

edit: i guess i could just use 2 of those skid plates. we'll see how it goes when i take it for a spin

My experience with the Fuzion ZRi has been horrible. First off, the tire is very narrow for the advertised width. The tread wear on them is 320, which is OK. On the back of my old 944 they would never hook up, forget cornering. On a friends STI the were equally as bad. They pushed on corner entry and got way too loose coming out of the corner. Maybe I was too used to the RE070s that came on the car. I worked at a Firestone shop when I went through these tires, I wouldn't buy them again even if I had the employee discount.

Yeah, going from a borderline r compound to a summer tire is a big difference. I guess ill have to try them for myself though, just didnt feel like spending ~400 on a set of tires.

Well, truth be told, I'm going to school at the moment and have no steady cash flow coming through. So I'm currently looking for a job/saving up to get the money I need. By the time I've got enough money I'm sure they'll be long gone. But thank you for keeping me in mind

Awesome Picture.. Looks like a hell of a time. Much better than my weekend of shoveling close to 2feet of snow.

Teal- Nice stuff.. Im thinking of making a little custom bracket to hold the radiator in place so the stock one isnt needed. Ill let you know if I come up with something if your interested. nothing crazy. just something cleaner.
