I don't remember that motor having one back when I had it. Perhaps the owner before me removed it? I never bothered to notice.

I saw your pics in the boosted thread. Why didn't you just get a back door intercooler? That way all you would really need is a few inches of pipe from the turbo to the fmic, then run the cold end like an Integra CAI (up by the frame rail). I'd be so paranoid that those pipes are going to get hit on something while driving. Are you worried about the crush bends at all?

The turbo I am using has a internal wastegate, its much different and not user friendly like externals, and the piping would be looping anyway, Im trying to avoid hacking the bumper/frame so Im trying to get something that will work. The bends on the pipes are smooth and not crimped bent, yes they narrow out a little on some bends, but the power I am making "200" Im not flipping over it.

Yes I am concerned about the pipes being low, but so far its looking higher then the smic I had, so if that is the case I should be ok.

Correct

I hooked up all the couplings/brackets last night and dropped the car on the ground, jumped on the bumper support a few times to level out. Looks like the lowest point has about a 4 finger gap, not great but the cat is about the same distance from the ground

I had to trim the bumper a bit also by about a 1/2 inch to sit a little flatter. If I can get these powder coated this week hopefully I am back together by the weekend

The shipping might be killer.. Im seeing them on ebay for about 75$ shipped but Im not sure they will actually send a DX rack... anyway to tell the difference visually?

I really want to do the Quaife rack.. not sure its worth the hassle right now though. probably should worry about other things!

just had some numbers ran as an example...to ship 22lbs via ground to New London, New York would be $16.42
