I havent installed it yet.. but at most i may have to grind the top part of the rounded metal edge. not the actual pad though.

I dont blame BRAKEEXPERT for moving sites.. this site is pointless to me, except this thread!

Anyone know of a place to get the foam piece that goes behind the front bumper inbetween the support? no luck going thru dealerships.
still cant find new oem weatherstripping either... ground up builds are a PIA to source OEM stuff.

I would say the foam piece would have to be found at a junkyard. Only place I could see them still being at. GL

Thanks a lot guys! I was thinking that if I am legally bound to paying for the item he should be legally bound to selling it at the price I agree to in the first place. Also in the auction it says the item will ship out within 4 days and nowhere does it say this is a pre-order special and I'd have to wait till mid December for it. I'm just going to get a refund on this BS. I'm tired of the ebay scammers everywhere. I've had nothing but problems with ebay this year.

You can find ATE "Super Blue" at most performance shops. We have it up here in the bay at a parts store called Winchester *thumbs up*. Please don't buy it at Porsche! I had an emergency in which I needed it now so I had to go to Porsche and I paid $35 for a can. Ouch. Otherwise, just google it and buy it online from most places for $15.

Also, ATE manufactures "TYP 200." It has the same boiling points as Super Blue, but it's gold. This way you can tell when you have a solid flush and not just a bleed. I switch off between the two.

yes you will be fine depending on how much boost you plan to run (hp goals). You can always take out some timing if you get pre-det.

OK, I have a question for you all:

I was driving to work this morning in the rain and I was on the freeway. I was at about 60 mph and I hit the gas to switch lanes and my car didn't go anywhere. I bliped the gas pedal a few times and it eventually got going but it would start hesitating after a few seconds. I pulled over and popped the hood and there was water all around my intake filter (I have a knockoff PasswordJDM whale peepee intake) so I though I might have started hydrolocking the motor. I put some cardboard between the headlight and filter and wrapped it in a shirt I had laying in my car. I hopped back on the freeway and it seemed to solve the problem. But a few miles down the road it started doing it again. I wasn't far from work so I decided to keep going. I stayed at low RPM and finally pulled into the parking ot and popped the hood and took another look. The shirt wasn't very wet and there were no CEL's on or anything. How much water does it take to hydrolock a motor?

for 300whp you wouldn't need anything other than 93 octane. water/meth is a waste of effort and money at those power levels. Unless....does running water/meth injection help fuel economy at all by keep temps down?

Pinja, I doubt you hydrolocked or even came close to it. You throwing any codes?

my next question would be manifold, i was just reading an article that had the same setup, and the only difference was a log vs equal length, the equal length made like 50+ whp. so that would be my best bet correct?

I guess all that "keeping it stock" talk is out the window, lol.

Im making an assumption here but an intake cam change alone will probably not give you enough to be happy with.

lol, yea pretty much. I thought the decrease in power from my LS to the gsr would be marginal, but my LS had way more *****. Especially in top end. I'm debating options of safely increasing the power in this thing without separating the head from the block etc. I did some searching on here and the ctr/itr intake cam gave the gsr a good boost in power, especially in vtec. I would be using a skunk2 pro intake mani as well.

I have flares from my old cabby project that i might mess with a little. What i will probably end up doing is just keep it up high enough so that i dont rub the fenders. They are R-comps on it and they need to be installed at the track anyways
