The Official EF Discussion Thread
Just bought one of the RMF slim replicas on here the other day. looking forward to getting it on the gsr and getting rid of this crushed DC 4-2-1.
i was bragging on my d series ground clearance, lol. I got a DC 4-1 for the D. Looked fine in the f/s thread and I was going to pick up some wheels in the same city. Drove 100 miles to get them. When i picked it up the collector (near o2 hole) was chopped off. Lol i haggled him down a lil. Got it for $50. Bought a 18" piece of 2.5" pipe and a 3 bolt flange and made me a long tube. Hope it doesnt hang too low. ill post pics later lol
the collector on the rmf replica narrow isn't going to give you any more clearance that's for sure. have you seen a real rmf compared to the replica? i can't find the image but the collector is offset so that the two of the four primaries merge up higher and not all at once point giving you more clearance.
i was looking at it on ebay

see how all four primary tubes collect at the bottom? Essentially the ground clearance just got reduced.

real dealzzzz

I'm not knocking knockoffs, but here the design is pretty daggum different which impacts our ground clearance issue.

you know, I never noticed that. crap. My tranny case already hangs lower than any part of my car. It has taken the brunt of a big *** pothole that I didnt see a couple times. Luckily it didnt hurt it more than a scrape. Oh well, if I need to raise the car up a bit, it's okay. I couldn't find an RMF slim original anywhere...
Sweet, my sister-in-law called and asked me if I wanted to buy her totalled wagon for $250. I'm going to get it and part it out. I should be able to make a decent amount of money on it. They bought it last summer and my brother put several hundred dollars into maint., tires, etc.
It's a 1991 Frost White, FWD, auto, blue interior. It's in pretty good shape other then the back bumper being bent under from the wreck and the doors not opening (although I haven't seen it since the wreck). Let me know if you think there are any parts you may want.
This will be Honda #12 and the last of the EF styles for me own. One CRX, one hatch, one sedan and now a wagon.
