I hate to leave H-T now after all these years, but this BS, is the last draw. I am no longer going to post on here anymore. I know, I've left before, but I just feel like my time here, has been long enough, time for some place new.

im with you guys....this is pretty weak. but in the past year this site has gotten pretty bad anyway for a couple other reasons. like the fact that you can't even name other sites and everything gets censored like the phrase http://www.honda-tekh.com/

it's all about the money. I really hate this change. everything was so easy before. I just found this thread today and I looked a bunch of times. Even today i searched "ef discussion thread" and it was like the 20th hit. honda-t e h k is a good idea, but there are no members. i can't believe this was all over 150 dollars a month. Such a ****ing travesty. I hope soon to find my for sale threads. i love searching for my posts/threads and getting only hits from 2003 and 2004. Die in an inferno IB.

ok can we stop bitching about the new format please. Its not that bad nad the ef thread lives. We still all make money from selling **** on here for free so its not a bad place. Bart 10 bucks says you disappear to zuihari and finish your sammy and then toss up a bunch of updates on your krx

The search function is really weird, what is up with searching for a post you made and it posts from oldest? Then you jump to the last page thinking that should be the newest and it's not?
Overall I guess I could get used to it, just some of it makes no sense.

Like I said, 70% of online forums use vB. There might be a good reason for that. Zeroforum has not been updated in 6-7 years. That is ANCIENT in technological terms.
It's a software change, it's a slightly different look. Same community, same people, same information. You can't honestly say you came here just for the shape of the boxes and placement of the buttons.
With vB you are going to get a substantially better product in the end. Right now, everyone is in shock and they are resistant to change, but you have to understand that this is a historically unprecedented changeover in terms of size. They had to rewrite some of the software in order to transfer it, for crying out loud.
With that being said, give them some time to work out the bugs and everything will be just fine.

Just to give you an update on the search
(this includes "find all posts by user", "find all threads by user" etc.)
We are updating the search engine to something that is much improved to the old search, and it requires adding each post into the search engine database (all 34million+ of them)
This is a bit of a slow operation, and it is starting from the first post ever made on Honda-Tech and working its way upto today - we anticipate that everything will be in there by the end of this week.

1) Impatient - refer to my prior post. It's a massive changeover and it will take time to work out the bugs.
2) Can't read - Don't complain about not being able to find things when there are GLOBAL announcement posts at the top of every single forum telling you about the specific problems they are facing and giving you a time frame for when it will be fixed.
3) They did this changeover for $150 a month? Are you kidding me? They own the software that runs 70% of online forums. They are a publicly traded company with almost 44 MILLION shares. $150 a month? Really?

I don't claim to know everything. I just stated what I had heard. Maybe it is all about 'new' technology, and not about getting out of the way of the lawsuit between the two old owners. However, being a realist, I doubt it. I am not one of the people who is claiming that I am leaving, only to return and make posts. I will wait it out, I just wanted one post where my opinion was heard.

Well today I FINALLY stopped being lazy and put on my GC/Konis after work today. It only took me about 3 hours to swap the suspension and do an alignment. Here's what my car looked like before:

It's good to have an alignment rack less than 20 feet from where you swapped suspension:

My new big-*** RC Engineering injectors and my Walbro fuel pump (my friend had an EG hatch with this and he gave it to me):

yeah i do. its in bad shape though. i wont sell it for a while cause i have to wait to get another hood, shouldnt be long though. btw, i should have another crx by the 29th if all goes well. very stoked.

block is going to the machine shop this week for a high-compression rebuild
will def be throwing some more(better too) pics up here soon of all the other stuff im doing to the crx...car has to be ready for redline time attack next year
